Nice place but some quirks
Outstanding location, near waterfront, tourist venues such as boat rentals, and several eateries. House was very clean and fully equipped. Although entirely satisfactory, this is an old house and has some quirks, such as a toilet sticking out of a closet in one bedroom and a very spongy floor in some places. We were happy with the house.

Progress needed
Remodel was new paint on walls and trim. Nice paintings on walls. Uncomfotable living room furniture. Wooden floors need either refinished or painted as it gave the place a shabby feel. 2nd bath was toilet in closet of 2nd bedroom -just weird. Good location to some great eats.

Cute and great location
The home was within walking distance to the old homosassa stores and restaurants and to enjoy the river. Great location! It was a cute rental and host communication was prompt and helpful. Thank you!

No paradise
The best thing about the property was the location. It is within walking distance of so many great restaurants and bars. The town is “old Florida” vibes. So cool. However, the place needs a lot of work. The floors were uneven and soft in spots. There was no second bathroom as advertised. I guess the owner considered a toilet in a closet (with a curtain separating the bed from the toilet) a second bathroom. The front porch was great and things were clean inside but just not what was advertised. Disappointed in the property but not the town. I did not contact the owners because the things stated above is something they will have to take time and fix. I’m not sure how to rank the contact with owners rating.
