Decent enough

You’re renting someone’s basement apartment. At first glance it looked clean however after looking around it was never cleaned, the bed sheets had makeup on them, there was a wet diaper on the couch covered by a blanket. When we contacted the owners they didn’t respond back but I could hear them upstairs talking and walking around. We ended up getting a hotel room, and after a while the owners did refund us back the money. They did do the right thing by us in the end. It’s a good little area just needs to be cleaned better.

Wohnung hält leider nicht, was die Bilder versprechen

Die Wohnung war leider nicht sauber. Durch die Fenster konnte man kaum durchschauen, so dreckig waren diese. Mikrowelle innen total dreckig. Fußböden waren auch nicht sauber. Dusche dreckig bzw. schimmelig. Es handelt sich um eine Kellerwohnung, bei der sich keine Fenster öffnen lassen. Die Zimmerdecke ist nicht schallisoliert, sodass man jeden Schritt und jeden Wasserhahn etc. der Bewohner der oberen Wohnung mit anhören muss. Absolut alles ist zu hören. Im Garten könnte man schön sitzen, leider sind dafür keine Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung schön eingerichtet, aber an vielen kleinen Stellen ramponiert und dreckig (Sitzbank in der Küche).

Ogden Retreat

Right at the base of the foothills in a quiet neighborhood, this basement apartment was spacious for my family of 4. There was a lot of natural light despite being a lower level apartment, a full kitchen, living room, bathroom with a shower, a bedroom and two additional trundle beds near the fold out couch in the living room. It seemed like it was fairly recently updated and well kept. We also had a shared laundry facility with the upstairs apartment. We were within a few minutes walking of a trail into the mountains and a few minutes drive to downtown Ogden and the nature center. The only issue is getting to the apartment requires walking down a backyard set of stairs. We also couldn’t get the wifi to work while we were there and so we couldn’t use the smart TV to sign in. We were busy and didn’t need it though, so this wasn’t a huge issue!
