About Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco) and Sandy Beach
Located in the Sandy Beach Resort area of Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Sonora, Mexico. Las Palomas Beach and Golf Resort is a vacation destination set against the Sea of Cortez, a 3 ½ to 4 hour drive from (212 miles) from Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, and 677 miles from San Diego, California. This resort is the first one in Rocky Point to obtain the AAA 4 diamond status and is the most popular and decorated resort in the area.

The beach is an amazing long strip of beautiful, incredibly clean sand that is among the beach beaches in Mexico. The Sea of Cortez is sheltered, with consistently calm and warm waters and sunny weather to match. The sunsets here are unparalleled.

Some of my favorites are romantic sunset cruise, massages (on the beach or arrange a private session in the unit), horseback riding, jet skiing, atvs, banana boats, fishing, golfing, shopping, bird watching, bird island tours, beach combing, paddle boarding, parasailing, dining, nightlife and much, much more.

About the Resort
Las Palomas is the largest master planned resort community in all of Rocky Point, which means it offers more amenties to you than other resorts. It offers cabanas by the pool and the beach, Palapas on the beach, beach volleyball, water slides and kiddy pools, negative-edge pools, jacuzzis, swim-up bars, lazy rivers, high-end lounge chairs with optional face shields, pool side eateries, upscale restaurants, sports bar, fitness center, spa, convention halls, a gourmet coffee shop and much much more!

Golf:
Las Palomas is a Seaside Golf Community. On-site 18 hole Jack Nicklaus- designed golf course. Our condos include a Resident Golf membership, which allows our guests to pre-book tee times 30 days in advance and receive a discounted rate off the regular rates.
Current rates are $35 after 2pm for 18 holes, which includes the golf cart.


Resort Policies
Las Palomas requires the person making the reservation to be 25 years or older w/valid ID and credit card and must be staying on property for the duration of the unit. Occupancy on this condo is limited to 9 people (8 guests are included with the nightly rate with an option to add a 9th guest for an additional fee). To use the resort amenities, guests are provided a wristband upon check-in and must keep their wristband for the duration of the stay (there’s a small resort fee to replace each lost wristband.) This is strictly a non-smoking unit and there are no pets allowed in accordance with Las Palomas policies.
