About this property

Come enjoy a stay at our comfortable Alaska made wall tent approximately 50 miles west of Glennallen and 100 miles east of Palmer. Experience the beauty of Alaska as our grandparents did when they first homesteaded here in the 60s. Pappy and grandma came north and built their homestead on this very location while mining, raising kids, running a general store, cabins, and a campground. We are honored to continue their legacy here.
The Prospector is our comfortable 11'x12' wall tent outfitted with two extra long twin beds, mosquito netting, propane heating stove, and solar powered lights for when that midnight sun finally rests. There is no electricity to the tent site but there is a charging station available if needed. We provide a water jug at your site for your convenience and will have breakfast items included in the onsite cooler.
There are multiple shared outhouses available on site as well as a single shower house with running water and towels provided for our guests. The shower house is unavailable late fall through early spring.

Do not cook or store food in the tent. Store food in the cooler or your vehicle. Do not remove the cooler from the site. Do not feed the wildlife.

To keep cleaning fees low, please remove shoes upon entering the tent and use the provided boot tray.

Please place all trash in proper bins by the shower house, tie back mosquito netting, and zip up windows and door prior to departure.
