Good basic accommodation
No provision was made for our arrival after 4 pm. Other kind residents of the condo building came to our rescue, tracked down the keys and showed us in. The host’s rules for the apartment were posted in the kitchen (like no smoking, no pets, electrical consumption, etc.) but were not stipulated at the time of renting. That could have caused a problem for some people. A/c in the living room was unreliable and the host was very slow to respond to messages. Wifi signal was weak—no wifi in one bedroom. Location of the unit within the complex was inconvenient: pool was directly below the apartment but the stairs were at the opposite end of the building. Big shortcoming: NO MICROWAVE in the kitchen. Also, the flatware was very limited (only 4 of each). It was nice to have a pump at the sink for drinking water but it occasionally left deposits of something in the water—a little disconcerting. The beds were comfortable, and pool/beach towels were provided. There was a laundry machine (washer-dryer) in the unit, but we didn’t use it.
Overall, the apartment was comfortable and quiet (except for the nightclub down the street) and we enjoyed our stay.
