Dirty linens and towels and uncomfortable mattress

When we first got there it was extremely uncomfortable walking down the halls. It was extremely dirty. I know the owner of this unit may not have control over that. There was garbage on the ground and spills everywhere. When entering the unit, the halls were so dark that we had to use our phone light to see the numbers for the entry code. Inside the surfaces seemed clean. However, I always check beds. The bed had not been changed/cleaned. There were two spots on the sheets that appeared greasy. One at the end and one at the feet. We took off the sheets and the mattress pad was dirty. We washed everything. I will say that one of the greasy spots remained on the sheets. When we went to use the towels the two large bath towels smelled like they had been used. We also then washed all the towels. The bathtub also had pink mold in spots. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable. It was very much like the old school dorm mattresses. I do not normally leave reviews about places. However, these issues need to be addressed for future rentals.
