The villa is perfectly located for you to enjoy your holiday without going too far, with Supermarkets, Restaurants, bars and cafés, shops and the beach only a few minutes away by foot or by car. Black River is host to some amazing places to visit, like the Black River Gorges if you love to hike or just take a casual walk along the river. Neighbour to Chamarel, Flic en Flac and Le Morne where you can take a scenic drive to discover the area. The Casela Nature Park is 15 mins away and perfect for a whole day family outing with lots of exciting adventures, rides, safaris, animal park and zip lining. After a long day out, Palm Nest Villa is the perfect place for you and your family to enjoy your holiday within the privacy of its beautiful garden.

Your host

Joerg and I we have been traveling a lot through the years for work and we have spent a lot of times in hotels. Although hotels have their advantages, we tend to like being in a more private environment. Whenever we travel for holidays with our family, we always look for a place that will make our holiday special. A place that is private for us only, charming, has all the amenities and facilities around. We like to explore, we are not the kind of travelers to lounge all day, we like to go out and discover and the idea that we can come back at the end of the day and relax in our own little oasis is what contributes to a great holiday.

Why they chose this property

The West Coast has the most beautiful sunsets on the island and a a good blend between nature and the sea. It is not as busy as the northern part of the island and it is great for nature lovers and theses who like to take scenic drives along the coast.

Our property is very special because it is located in a very private alley, away from the main road, it is a very quiet and peaceful place. As soon as you enter the property you are welcomed by an amazingly green garden with tall palm trees, with the rays of sunlights passing through and as you make your way down in the garden, you already feel a sense of peace and relaxation.
