About the host
Hosted by Elise Borgeat

My name is Elise, I'm from Québec (french part of Canada). I settled down here, in Lonquimay, with Juan who is from Chile and now our two kids, Sairi and Lou. We try to live a simple life, near the tiny village of Lonquimay, totaly self sustainable place. Every thing works thanks to our efforts and good will. It is sometimes hard to hold on, but we truly believe in what we do! As we are a bit isolated and were, Juan and I, big travelers, we love receiving people from all over the world! This cabin is, for us family, a door through anywhere in the world.
Why they chose this property
We wanted something lost in nature, and at the same time with the security and facility that civilization offers..! I also looked for snow... I could see my kids grow up without playing in snow!
What makes this property unique
It's awesome!! We can see and hear wild life, we have Araucarias on our lands, which are sacred trees here, the view is gorgeous, every thing Juan builts is made up with love and details, we like what we do and it's tangible.
