About the host

Hosted by Christine Chastain

Host profile image
I moved to Maine in October 2022 from Salt Lake City because I was seeking acreage and amenities for my horses and dogs. I'm an outdoorsy person and am friendly and outgoing without being overbearing. I speak fluent German and French and have lived and worked around the world. I love being a host because I enjoy meeting new people and like seeing them enjoying themselves.

Why they chose this property

Again, I was looking for acreage in a temperate climate that already had a barn and an indoor arena on it.

What makes this property unique

The view from this property is truly spectacular and it is one of the few properties on this tidal river that offers direct access to the river to put a kayak or a boat in. I have never seen so many birds in my life - this is a real birders dream. And for anyone wanting to take part in any sort of outdoor activities, access from here is fabulous.
