Communication w/owner could have been much better- was given a key code & did'nt find out it was'nt working until we tried checking in. Found an alternate way to get in after contacting owner. Nice house, but D/W was Unusable even though it powered on- HORRIBLE rust inside forced us to hand wash dishes- not disclosed. Cleanliness was good & other amenities were workable. Backyard was very spacious & well fenced, 2 car garage w/opener was nice as well, along w/the accommodating semi circle driveway
Wonderful location, met our needs, loved the wildlife in the backyard. Highly recommended. Few suggestions: add a handle/rail for elderly to hold onto in shower and tub, add a folding valet in closets for folks to take out and set their suitcases on in bedrooms. In addition, instructions on how to use the master shower. Wonderful stay. Will use in the future. Thank you so much.
Several friends met up for the weekend. 3 bedrooms 2 baths perfect. We ate out for everyone breakfast. We only used the coffee pot and toaster for morning. Loved the patio door to the deck and great backyard. Will stay here again.
Truly a clean home. Open floor plan. Dog friendly.
Back porch is beautiful to sit on and relax. Stroll around the block with our dog was very nice.
Beds were very comfortable.
Tv was very easy to use.
Ping pong table in garage to have fun.
Tucked away gem , yet close to everything.
Will definitely be going back.

Don't count on the keypad working...which means you need to have your phone handy to contact the host and learn where the spare key is hidden. Make sure you don't mind carrying a 3,000 damage deposit on your credit card. I checked out a week ago and am still waiting for the charge to be taken off. Other than that, the place was fine, location is pleasant, price is right. I wrote to the host about the charge and have heard zero, zilch, nothing back. Maybe I need to wait another week?

Glad not first VRBO experience
The home was clean with a huge sectional couch, huge TV, and comfortable beds. However ... there were no top sheets on the beds; only one bed had pillow cases for the pillows; there was one blanket for three bedrooms; no dish towel in kitchen. Very poorly supplied, especially kitchen items. I tried several times to call host before finding out I was given a bad contact number and I couldn't use my laptop to contact host because we were given wrong internet ID information.
I finally did get message regarding my concerns. Host called back immediately but was rude on initial contact. I cannot give this this stressful stay any higher rating than 3 stars.
We had a great stay at the Okemos property. Six adults (family) all stayed for MSU graduation, and had plenty of room. The large dining room table was awesome and we sat 8 comfortably. The house has limited supplies, so we used a lot of paper plates and plastic utensils (we purchased at nearby store) - made clean-up easy. When we stayed, the dishwasher was not working. The kitchen is big, and we cooked most of our meals there. The sliding back door allowed for sitting on the back patio to enjoy the large back yard.
The living room had plenty of seating allowing us to sit and visit, and large TV if you have time to kill or want to just kick back and relax.
The garage had a ping-pong table that we enjoyed, and provided room for storage of coolers. It was mostly empty, so a vehicle could be parked inside if preferred.
There was one large towel per person, but limited wash clothes and small towels. The beds had a bottom sheet, but not a top sheet. There was only limited toilet paper so we purchased our own.
The host always responded quickly to questions and was easy to work with. They accommodated our request to extend our stay by a day.
Overall, a great stay. Thank you!
This was for a couple of women who needed a place to stay for a work event in Okemos. The House was perfect! Nice neighborhood and easy to get to everywhere. Quiet. Loved the location as it is close to East Lansing. Lots of great restaurants around. Great host!
Just as described but still exceeded my expectations.
I enjoyed my stay; it was my first time in Michigan, and I didn't know what to expect. But as I as drove closer and closer toward the home I was blown away at the sheer beauty of the surrounding neighborhood. The home itself is spacious, warm, and unassuming with a giant big screen TV to match. I was amazed at how accurately the pictures described the home. More so delighted that with access to the garage I could park then walk into the home privately. However, I wish the listing gave a little more attention to the neighborhood. I was stunned every time I pulled away from the curb of the home. Huge pine trees lined the street with a lush forest landscape. Pleasantly quiet with a sprawling paved walking trail that I believe may through the entire neighborhood. My only disappointment is that I, as an avid walker, did not venture out onto the trail that was right across the street from the home.
