Host was very accommodating and responsive to our requests. There were a few in our party very sensitive to strong laundry soap smells, and even though I only told her two days before we went, she changed the sheets and also offered to remove plug in air fresheners ( something I also can't tolerate) and open the windows before our arrival.
Old somewhat funky house which seems to be in the process of being renovated for renters. A short distance from a lovely walking area a nice plus.

Do Not Stay Here
The house smells like mold. The railing for the stairs is falling off. The beds are made for 8 year olds. The quality of the bed frames and bedding was the absolute cheapest. The remolded bathroom is almost unusable because you cannot fit in the door.
To give some context, I rent tens of thousands of dollars worth of VRBO and corporate rentals a year for my company. I have working class standards, not looking for anything posh.
The price of this stay is ridiculous for what you get. I do not recommend you rent this unit. To many problems to list. We referred to this house as the haunted house for the duration of the trip
We heard there were four young men staying the week before we stayed. We felt this place would be perfect for them.. While it was not perfect for us we made it work. One of us could not do stairs but even for the rest of us the stairs were a challenge. The upstairs bath has a high rim that was difficult for older legs. Bath towels were small. There were plumbing issues that were taken care of immediately and we were so grateful for that. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and found the supplies adequate but not abundant. In summary we suggest this place be rented by the young.
