2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, sleeps 5+, garden style layout on the Pemi River!
My wife and I, residents of the Boston area, have been coming to Deer Park since the early 90's to enjoy winter and summer vacations. Last year, we were fortunate enough to finally own and we invested heavily in updating the unit. We chose this garden-style layout because, of all the different layouts we chose to rent over the years, we enjoyed this one best for its privacy, simplicity and proximity to the beautiful Pemi River and the views and sounds it provides.
Gary purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Gary chose North Woodstock
We bought this property because of....... - River views - Floor plan and cathedral ceilings - Outdoor deck privacy and size (some similar decks enclose a heating unit on the deck, ours does not, leaving more space for Adirondack chairs and outdoor pub table) - Abundance of activities close-by, all year round - Clubhouse
What makes this Condo unique
You will love the mountain air enjoyed from a full service resort with many amenities available at no extra cost. Deer Park is maintained extremely well and is the most proximate to the most activities, we believe, in the Woodstock/Lincoln area.

We stayed at this property for 8 nights and glad we chose this unit for our vacation. Everything about it was perfect. The unit was absolutely clean upon our arrival. It was well stocked with dishes, serving pieces, pots & pans, garbage bags, paper towels, dish detergent and much more (included cold rocks in the freezer for drinks!) The rooms are quite spacious. Its lovely sitting on the terrace listening to the brook below. Nice TV and sound system in the living room. TV in bedroom too. All of the beds are quite comfortable. One note - glad we looked at the listing which suggested air conditioning. It was quite warm 3 evenings and glad we had AC in the bedrooms for comfort. The development is lovely. While we did not use the clubhouse, there is a beautiful lake on the property where we were floating away on tubes included with the unit. We might be returning in September and would definitely stay here if available. If you can't decide where to stay in the White Mountains - stay here. You will not regret it!
Our new FAVORITE vacation spot
My wife and I both fell in love with this place as soon as we set foot in the 3rd floor walk-up. The open concept Kitchen/Dining/Living Room areas along with the vaulted ceiling made it feel very spacious and inviting. One of the first things we did, while our 2 girls found their bedroom and started to unpack, was to open the sliding glass door out to the balcony that overlooks the Pemigewasset River. The balcony has a nice little pub table and also 2 Adirondack Lounge Chairs. (I spent most of my "inside time" out on the balcony just listening to the river roll by) Our master suite was well set up with a King bed, Love seat, armoire and TV. Having our own master bathroom always make for a smooth vacation especially with 2-teenage girls!!
The Girls shared the 2nd bedroom with a Full size and Twin bed and the 2nd bath is right outside the bedroom.... very convenient.
You could tell the facility is WELL maintained as all of the roads had just been repaved, the entryways to the buildings had been recently redone, the landscaping crews were out mulching, trimming and planting.
The pond is fabulous, we loved swimming in that water, probably the cleanest water I have ever been in, you could literally see 15'-20' to the bottom of this clear stream & spring fed pond.... PERFECTION!!!
We look forward to coming back, we are already planning on a nice Ski getaway and to ice-skating on the pond!
Thank you so much for having us,

everything as advertised
wonderful condo very close to skiing, food, fun
Sean, thanks for the review. Glad the skiing, food and fun was great as well! -Gary
Clean, cozy and cost effective!
This condo was great for a girl's ski weekend. It was just the right size for 3 of us - could have had one or two more adults comfortably, and having two baths, each with it's own shower was perfect. The property was cozy and well decorated. The shuttle to the mountain was so easy - no lugging your stuff from a parking spot a mile away. My only suggestion is to add a cutting board and some wine glasses (or bring your own). We all agreed we would stay here again. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed the stay Colleen. Thank you for the note on the cutting board and wine glasses. Our last inventory in January had the cutting board beneath the sink and at least 6 wine glasses. It was a busy February so we'll be sure to re-stock what is needed. Thanks again! - Gary
Such a nice weekend getaway from RI with my boyfriend and 2 teenage daughters. The property was exactly as stated and very cozy. You could definitely bring your own food and cook during your stay (everything is there to do so) ... or take a 5 min ride to a local restaurant (went to The Common Man which satisfied everyone). In addition, the proximity to Loon (less than 10 min) was perfect and made this property a great choice for us. I looked into staying at Loon but when I saw this option (accommodations, location and price), it was a no brainer for what we were looking for.
What a gem!
Gorgeous place, seems professionally decorated with everything you could ever imagine needing. Much nicer than the pictures. Deck is fabulous and overlooks a beautiful turning river. Great clubhouse with pool and gym. We hope to return again soon.
The professional decorators are my wife and me, but mostly my wife! Our favorite is the back deck, just looking out over the running Pemi. Peaceful. So glad you enjoyed your time with us.

The unit is located within walking distance to numerous restaurants and attractions, such as Clark's Trading Post, Alpine Adventures Zip Line Tours, Lafayette Dinner Train etc. Within a short drive are Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves, The Flume, Whale's Tale Water Park, and the ski areas of Cannon Mountain, Bretton Woods, Waterville Valley and Loon Mountain. Short drives from the unit present astounding views all year round, especially during the autumn foliage season.
