Super Unique and Modern 'House' with Perfect Central Austin Location.
Note: This unit is extremely unique, so a lot of the conventional terms to describe regular properties don't neatly apply.
This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for an awesome place to stay for SXSW (one of the absolutely coolest events on Earth).
While it’s a fairly snug spot, you'd be surprised how much stuff you can fit into it.
Beautiful neighborhood view in summer.
Beautiful city view in winter.
It technically has a third floor, so you can really see a lot
The Property:
2 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom (with a tower) that's built on the second floor of a separated garage.
At ~700 Sq Ft, it’s a relatively small unit, but feels very open due to huge vaulted ceilings .
Key Features:
Beautiful, Large Patio.
Real Wood Floors and Granite Table Tops.
Awesome Shower (2 heads) with Beautiful View.
Very Safe and Private Spot.
Cute, lovable chickens in front (no roosters).
Best Washer and Dryer I've ever used.
Vaulted Ceilings found throughout the unit (including the loft) give it the feeling of being very open and spacious.
Tons of Natural Light (there are 15+ windows!) They are placed in a way that prevents anyone nearby from looking into the unit—except via my room, but I always keep that window shut).
Stainless Steel Appliances (large gas powered oven/stove--a perfect kitchen if you enjoy cooking).
Lots of Storage Space (except for very large items like couches, standing-desks, large bookshelves, etc.)
Perfect location. We are less than a mile away from Zilker Park/Springs, and within walking distance of lots of cool coffee shops, bars, venues, etc. It’s a decent walk to the main “downtown party area"—perhaps 15-30 mins—but still, I usually walk to/from night downtown.
I have a very comfortable foldable mattress/chair (easy to wash) available for free if you don't have a mattress + a lamp for the loft and a second mattress behind the bed in the master bedroom that can be used on the living room floor.
Comes with amenities listed.
Some Things to Note:
---PETS---
YES Pets = 1-2 small and well-groomed dogs. Retiles, Fish, Plants, and Pet Rocks.
NO Pets = Large/long haired dogs. Cats (unless they are kittens), Wild Animals, Large Snakes, Spiders.
When closed, the thick curtains keep a lot of noise out and provide privacy, but the loft does lack a true door, as well as window curtains. So you’ll need to buy/bring some (or use some extra sheets) if you’d like the ability to block out sunlight.
Climbing up and down the stairs is a little tricky in the beginning, but you’ll be flying up and down them once you get use to the ladder.
The main room has a ton of storage space and a massive window (which I usually keep covered as it does have a curtain).
Despite the unit existing on top of a separate garage, there is no dedicated parking. So you must park on street (virtually never fills up completely)
