Welcome to your hill country getaway. The ranch guest house is built hillside with a bridge so both the house and pool area (outdoor kitchen) are wheelchair friendly! The newly built guest house is waiting for you with flat screen HDTV's in every room, queen beds in both bedrooms, large living / kitchen / dining open floor plan, free WIFI and dish network for the flat screen tv's. The views are amazing! Sunsets are gorgeous! Bring a camera. Great picture opportunities. The sounds of the wildlife are awesome! We are close to many wedding venues and wineries. Helicopter tours are available for additional fee (depending on weather). Ask owner for details.

This property is located on a large tract of land with a Hilltop one side of the hilltop is the Guesthouse the other side is the owner's house the pool area is in the middle there is an outdoor kitchen with bathroom next to the pool

The owner does not use the pool area when there are guests in the guest house

The owner typically travels most weekends

Most pets are welcome they must remain off of the furniture and out of the pool at anytime. All pets must remain on a leash when they are outside of the house there is livestock on the property

SKIP THIS LISTING

We arrived at the property around 8:15 pm. Went in the house and every bed had been slept in, there was food on the floor, and the bathroom was filthy and had a hamper full of dirty towels. Contacted the property manager and he said I’ll get the cleaning lady to come. She showed up at 11 pm. Changed sheets on 1 bed so that we could sleep for the night. Was told that we would get a refund, but they said we stayed the night. At 11 o’clock at night, we had no choice. We could have slept on the floor and it would still be the same. We all have a choice when booking a place to stay. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. This is the most pitiful encounter I’ve ever had renting a house. To top all of this off, there was cat crap at the front door, cats scratching at the door during the night, and a 300# pig that wonders around. The property manager has no customer skills. DON’T STAY HERE

Not as advertised. We left after one night. People were very nice but property not as expected. Rental house is part of a complex with owners house where pool and outside areas are. People in owners house. No outside area at all in rental house-.didn’t feel private. Also never received info in advance so had to call for entrance etc. also no hot water until we called and were told how to turn on hot water. Long story short-waste of $1500 and lesson learned. Better communication will help in the future-snd being specific about the location of pool etc at the other occupied house.

First Family Vacation

Highly, HIGHLY recommend staying here, even it if it's just for one night. BEAUTIFUL home, GORGEOUS views, AND it comes with friendly animal neighbors. Very close to stores and local attractions. Chad is a wonderful host and extremely easy to get ahold of if need be. He even had his boys show my 3 year old his chicken coop! Overall a wonderful location for my first family vacation. Thank you so much for the experience Chad!

Not what we expected

We arrived late and were greeted by a herd of Goats having their dinner in the driveway. Thought this was odd as we thought we had the place to ourselves, yet the goats were freshly fed/feeding. Once we located the guest house and entered the property, we were greeted by a foul smell that we later discovered was coming from the washer in the only rest room. I am guessing that this place is not often rented due to the amount of air in the pipes. The toilet did not flush upon initial use but once all of the air got out of the pipes it began to function. The sponge in the kitchen appeared to have been used to scour their cast iron collection and was likely purchased in the 90's. The listing says pet friendly, and it is, so long as your dog likes CATS. Our dog does not, so this made for very interesting entries and exits of the guest house. The cats were very friendly and felt they should be staying in the house with us. Constant meowing and scratching at the door drove our dog nuts and made for a very unpleasant "short stay". We were booked for two nights but we only lasted till 9am the next morning. My wife is extremely allergic to cats! If the listing indicated that there were loose cats on the property we would have moved on to the next listing. There are rules posted everywhere along with instructions on the do's and don'ts. One of the best that we saw was a note to make sure and shut off the gas to the grill as there is a leak that they cannot find...I'll leave that one there. The pool is off the back of the main house, and not knowing if the owners were home or not, we did not feel welcome to enjoy it with privacy. The guest house overall was not clean and I would not recommend this property. I would upload the pictures we took to support this narrative but there is no option to do so. Read the fine print!!!!!!!!!!!
