About this property

This 3 bedroom, 1 bath, cozy, charming home is ready for you and your family! Equipped with not only many amenities, but brochures and goodies from a variety of places to go and things to do in our famous, award-winning, historical small town of Abilene. We welcome you and hope you enjoy your stay!

This home is located in the heart of Abilene, just a couple blocks from the city park that features the Eisenhower Rose Garden, the city pool, and the county fairgrounds where the Central Kansas Free Fair is held.

The main bedroom features a queen size bed with brand new mattress. Two other bedrooms are available for use, one featuring a full bed, and the other room has a twin bed along with a built-in hammock chair. This home is child friendly!

The back yard is large and equipped with toys, sporting goods, and games. (Storage sheds are off limits to guests.)

The living room has a comfortable seating area and Smart TV. Free Wi-Fi! Netflix, Hulu, Disney and more for guests!

There is a dining area with breakfast nook seating. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, microwave, Keurig, cookware, cutlery, dishwasher, and more amenities for your cooking and dining needs!

A Washer and Dryer are on site and available for use.

The newly remodeled bathroom has everything you need to freshen up.

This 50 year old home has some bumps and bruises here and there. She is still warm and cozy, and all to yourselves! Thank you for booking with us!

Nice and quiet

This was a nice little place in the process of updating. It has everything we needed and was a reasonable price that was cheaper than getting two hotel rooms. The owner was very responsive to requests.

Wonderful!

We loved it. Great little house, was perfect for our family when we came to town for the marathon. Fabulous experience with the host, amazingly responsive and she bent over backwards to let us check in early. Being able to walk to Eisenhower Park was awesome for our 3-year-old, as was the swing out front. Thanks for a great trip!

Great Host, Kid-Friendly House and Location

Brandi is a great host - very responsive, accommodating, and had good local restaurant suggestions. The house was great for our two toddlers - plenty of room, a few kid items, and a fun swing out front. They also enjoyed a quick visit from the neighbor kitty :) Location is walking distance to Eisenhower Rose Garden and [kids] Park. I think adults could easily walk into town as well. As Brandi notes, the house is older, but she balances it out with cozy touches throughout!

Born and raised Abilenian. I have a large, blended family, my husband and I share 9 children; 2 of them together. What I love about hosting is providing a peaceful, relaxing, comfortable oasis to travelers, and at the same time showcasing Abilene’s finest sites, museums, boutiques, events and so on.

Why they chose this property

This house was my home as a single mom for many years prior to becoming a vacation rental. I love this neighborhood, you will not find a grumpy face. My older children enjoyed growing up next to the park and pool, and a gas station to frequent with their pocket change right around the corner.
