Nightmare in Tampa
Horrible, room advertised with a pool and spa which was my one requirement.
Went to look at pool upon arrival and was seen on camera by owner apparently and quickly told by host its not available to me to use! Belongs to family in main house. THERE WERE TWO BEACH TOWELS IN THE ROOM and not by the beach! No spa or jacuzzi onsite as stated ANYWHERE. I rented this for the pool EXCLUSIVELY. Host lied about inaccurate listing, quickly changed it and texted me at 9pm seven hours later saying I was seen by owner trying to break into locked pool gate I'm guessing to try and harrass and intimidate me but no such luck? I had been in my room since 4pm and the gate was open when I looked at the pool at 2pm. I was going to get in
and had every right to but decided to go to the store. Host said owner wanted to call police and I said be more than happy to call them and didn't appreciate his BS. He then completed backed down and began a BS lie and attempting to TRY TO SPIN his previous communication because he was now in trouble with VRBO! NOPE. I have been in property management for 35 years, I KNOW WHAT HE WROTE, I HAVE IT AND I HAVE A SCREENSHOT OF THE PROPERTY ADVERTISING A POOL AND SPA. I have never experienced such a horror. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND TROUBLE AND FIND SOMEONE MORE TRUSTWORTHY WITH A CORRECT AND ACCURATE DESCRIPTION. OH AND THE SO CALLED "OVEN" IS A HOTPLATE AND NO IRON OR IRONING BOARD AND I HAD AN IMPORTANT MEETING IN THE AM.
