The property was close to beaches. With traffic, beaches are about 30-40 mins away. The customer service was a highlight given some air conditioning/cooling challenge. If you are traveling with anyone who is experiencing menopause, the air conditioning may be a barrier. We were not able to lower the temperature below 73 due to pipes freezing, especially after attempts to service cooling unit. There is a musty/mildew smell slightly in the home, more so pronounced after cooling pipes froze. Property managers were very responsive, offered to service the unit that evening, we declined and they were there the next day to service. Pool is a nice feature though pool heater turns off after 10p, making morning swims not tolerable for some, though fine for kids. Our originally listing mentioned hot tub, however the smaller sitting pool is not a hot tub. Glad to see listing has been updated to reflect that smaller heating pool is not a hot tub. We found the listing is overpriced given cooling issues and limits, original listing stated hot tub on site, and limited morning swimming for adults due to heater being reactivated in the morning. Customer service quality and responsiveness helped diffuse the cooling challenges, though parents struggled to sleep at night. Due to price point and cooling issues, not a listing at the top of our consideration to return to. Cannot thank owners enough for attempting to fix cooling issues while we were there.
