Disappointed
This unit was probably the worst property I've rented in the years I've used VRBO. It cost me $1,300 for 2 nights.
* No ammenities like paper towel... dish towels for the kitchen... working ice maker in the freezer ...extra trash bags, basics I've had in all of the properties prior to this one.
*Internet was poor and restricted us to a couple of devices... in this day and age, that is unacceptable... we had 4 adults with multiple devices and could only hook up a couple of them.
*TV/cable service was minimal... very few channels to choose from... the weather was poor and we were in the room for the first night and not much to choose from... again, nearly all of the places we've stayed had a robust service, especially at the price I was paying.
*The morning of our check out, I requested a late check out of 11:00 am as our ride was going to be late... I was told by the front desk that would be fine... we had a security officer at our door at 10:10 that was very rude and threatening and demanded we leave immediately... that was the final straw...
* this property is older and not very well kept, but the pictures you advertise depict a much nicer facility... I regret choosing your property as I had other options, but based on your presentation, thought this was a higher end, nicer place. I've stayed in a number of nice VRBO places in the past and am willing to spend extra for comfort and a nice experience... this is definitely not one of them.
