Escape to our cozy and fully equipped basement, a hidden gem just steps away from the Franconia-Springfield Metro station. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and more. You'll feel right at home. Independent bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, private bathroom for your convenience, and dedicated workspace to stay productive. Includes an independent cooking area (access to a full kitchen on the main level if needed). Relax and unwind in our sauna.

Full kitchen:
The unit has a small stove with two burners and a exhaust fan for your basic needs. If you need access to a full kitchen, please reach out to make arrangements and give you access to the 2nd level of the house. We appreciate you letting us know with time in advance.

We have two lovely cats in the third level, which is not accessible to the guest, but we just want to let you know in case you see them if you request access to the full kitchen.

We have the laundry machines at the basement level where the room is. However, the room is completely independent, and you will have the keys to lock your room. It has its independent entry.

Charming and cozy

My stay was absolutely amazing. They were the best hosts, the event I was attending ran very late and they checked in to make sure I was okay. This is the first time a host has ever thought to reach out for my safety. I really appreciated it. It snowed during my visit and it wasn't shoved or anything so I did have to walk through the snow a lot which I didn't like but no one can control the weather.

Clean and comfortable!

I spent one night at this property and was very happy with it! Diana gave me clear instructions about getting inside and left her parking space open for me to use. The whole basement was very clean and nicely furnished. It was cold for me and I couldn't find a thermostat, but there was a heater in the room that made the temperature more comfortable. Everything was as described, and I felt very safe. This was a great deal, and I recommend it to anyone staying in Alexandria!
