House

The house was a little outdated and not as close to beach as they state but overall it was relaxing and beautiful backyard. This was the first time I had to use a lining service but the owner put me in contact with them right away.

Lovely vacation on Bonnet Shore

This is a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house, comfortable for a larger family and an easy walk to Kelly Beach, which is lovely and great for little kids. It has Wi-Fi, a comfortable living room and dining room, a gas grill outside and a nice deck and porch. The master bedroom upstairs has a ceiling fan, but the air conditioner is in the window of the adjoining bathroom. The other bathroom is downstairs, and accommodates a trundle bed of two twins, an a/c and ceiling fan. The remaining 2 bedrooms, are upstairs, one with an air conditioner and one with no a/c or fan. Despite the nice breeze, the house does get hot. The kitchen had all the basics, but silverware was sparse. There were only tablespoons and an occasional teaspoon. The bathrooms had no place to hang wet shower towels, other than over the shower curtain rod. I mentioned that hooks would have been helpful. We made due with all the small inconveniences and had a very nice stay.

Relaxing!

The house was very clean and the owners are in the area, so they are nearby if you need anything. In fact, a big storm was brewing and the owners left us some flashlights on the porch just in case the power went out. The kitchen could use a few more supplies and the furniture in the living room is not so comfortable, but we were out and about most of the time anyway. All in all, a nice home with responsive owners. Thanks!!

Beautiful home in Bonnet Shores

This was an incredible vacation. The home is absolutely beautiful. It is impeccably kept and just lovely, inside and out. Both the house and the property was beautiful. It was well-stocked and an easy walk to a stunning beach. To add to the package, it was only around the corner from ocean views of the Newport Bridge and passing ferry boats. The location to close by attractions could not be beat- ice cream, coffee, restaurants, and beaches! I absolutely fell in love with this place. The owners, Charles and Ann, were very responsive and very nice people. My only hesitation in giving this 5 stars was that the owner was in and out quite a bit. I think he dropped by, or requested to drop by, five out of the seven days we were there. This prevented us from completely enjoying the rental for the week. Eventually, I learned that I need to not enjoy that morning cup of coffee in my PJs on the deck or the afternoon post-beach outside shower, as the chances of the owner popping up were simply too high to feel like we could completely enjoy the privacy of our vacation.

Perfect family beach house

We arrived to an impeccably clean and well-kept home. The 3 window AC units were a life-saver during the hottest week of summer. We had a little problem with the patio sliding door, which the home owner promptly fixed. The mattresses are not very comfortable, but we placed blankets under the sheets as mattress pads and that helped. It wouldn't deter us from staying here in the future. This property is within a manageable walking distance to the beach. We also loved the private backyard, which hosts an outdoor shower, deck, grill, and space for kids to run around. We would definitely rent this property again and appreciate the hospitality of the homeowners.

Well maintained and in the perfect location for beaching!

We had a fabulous time and Charlie could not have been more helpful. Getting to and from the beach was easy and at night, if you have the windows open - you could hear the ocean. Plenty of room for all 4 of us and we had company visit two nights. We had everything we needed and except for a small mix up with sheets and towels - we managed very well. Great area, great spot, accommodating owner. Highly recommend.
