Ultimate Vermont Experience
When I told any local where we were staying for the weekend, they all said Peacham Pond was the best place to experience Vermont, especially in peak leaf season. The cabin is beautiful inside and everything in excellent condition. The cabin made my family happy for many reasons. My mom loved sitting in front of the fireplace. My niece and nephew were occupied by the indoor and outdoor activities. I loved cooking with my mom in the large, well-equipped kitchen and having my morning coffee on the porch with the view of the lake The only tip i can give is it can be hard to find the first time, especially if your cell phone service loses connection. Be sure to study the map that Anthea will provide.

Beautiful fall foliage
We went to Vermont to check out the fall colors and this place was just amazing. You could see the Mikey Way at night from the dock and there was a beautiful trail nearly right across the street from the house that went up into the woods and accross a creek. Only complaint would be the smell of smoke in the house that was quite heavy on the soft furniture.

Really enjoyed our stay!
Very comfortable cabin for our group of 6 cyclists - all Vermonters from the southern part of the state. The living/dining/kitchen area was just perfect for hanging out and relaxing, cooking meals and dining. Kitchen was equipped with everything a cook could possibly want and more. The grill on the deck was super clean (which unfortunately I find is not often the case). We relaxed out on the dock in the late afternoons and enjoyed the quiet still water in the cove and the call of the loons in the distance. The only downside for our group was the distance and time it took to just get into the town of Peacham which was the starting point for our rides and a breakfast and lunch spot at the sweet little Peacham Cafe but we got used to the trip back and forth and were always super happy to come back and settle into cabin for a bath (great tub) or shower (also really nice) AND . . . sit around a fire in the fireplace for the cool evenings.
