Embark on your own fairytale when you book a stay at the luxurious and secluded Lodge Lore! These cabins are situated on 88 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains and are surrounded by rushing river sounds, beautiful trees, and stunning trailheads. Rustic yet updated, each cabin boasts a wood-lined, charming interior, as well as stylish accommodations and amenities. After a day spent exploring the great outdoors, cozy up in front of one of the wood stoves, available in each cabin.
Your reservation includes the following three properties:
The Lodge: The largest of the three cabins is perfect for family vacations, celebrations, ceremonies, and retreats. Whimsical thoughts are inevitable as you sip on a cup of cocoa and look out at lovely nature views. You'll also find a game table that offer fabulous entertaining options, and the home's well-stocked library has novels that'll interest every member of the family. The Lodge Lore provides a gourmet kitchen, access to high-speed internet, multiple washers/dryers, and partial air-conditioning.
The Lodge includes a nearby outdoor pavilion, playfully named Cookout Cove. This newly furnished open-air area is perfect for outdoor fun and relaxation! It features an inviting wood-burning fireplace, ideal for cozy gatherings under the covered pavilion. Enjoy a delicious barbecue with the gas grill, and dine al fresco at the outdoor dining table. For entertainment, challenge your friends and family to a game of darts or explore other available games. Cookout Cove promises a delightful blend of leisure and excitement, ensuring a memorable stay for everyone. The Lodge sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1 offers: 1 king bed and 1 queen bed. The loft area provides: 2 twin beds, 1 queen sofa bed and 2 twin trundle beds. Parking for 4 vehicles next to the Lodge.
Goldilocks: Enjoy meals in your full kitchen, complete with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, ample meal prep space, and a vast amount of utensils and kitchenware. Amenities extend to a private washer/dryer, partial air-conditioning, and internet access. When you are looking to relax hang out on the front porch overlooking the lovely pond. This is a great space to catch up with the people who mean the most to you. Goldilocks sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1 offers: 1 king bed. The loft area offers: 1 queen bed. The Hobbit: Enjoy the rustic primitive cabin and get back to nature. When you arrive to this cabin you will find all the needed bedding and towels are stored in plastic totes to ensure everything is clean and ready for your stay. This cabin is not equipped with air-conditioning and has a mini-fridge to hold your snacks and drinks during your stay. Get cozy in front of the living room's wood fireplace or enjoy evenings sitting on the front porch. The Hobbit cabin is equipped with a wood stove and space heater as heat sources. The Hobbit sleeping arrangements: 1 queen bedroom and a twin sofa bed in the living room. Parking for 2 vehicles next to the cabin.
When exploring the area, be sure to check out the Cradle of Forestry Overlook, Sliding Rock, the Cradle of Forestry in America Museum, State Rock Creek, and Springdale Resort. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only seven miles away and sports 469 miles of scenic views of the Appalachian Highlands. On the way there, fly fish in the Pigeon River or go for a hike at Looking Glass Falls. On the subject of hiking, Cold Mountain houses the famous Great Balsam Mountains, whose summit takes seven hours to reach. After your exciting outdoor adventures, stop off in Waynesville and Canton to pick up something at the general store, then come back and gather outside amidst the pleasant air for a cookout and cheerful chatter.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
