Originally built and designed in 1974, the new owners have taken their time restoring this tranquil Chalet into a modern day 4-season oasis.
Surrounded by lush greenery from the Muskoka pines and curated landscaping as soon as you drive up you feel your stress melt away. Whether you choose to enjoy seasonal lake views from the infinity deck and firebowl overlooking the forest or from the firepit on the meadowy greens- your evenings will not disappoint. As you enter the chalet the natural aura flows freely through the space with large windows and sky lights engulffing the spaces with views of the trees creating a treehouse feel. The main level of the property boasts a fully modern kitchen with LG appliances perfect for serving scrumptious meals with an open concept allowing the chef to stay involved in the conversation. A cozy living room with a gas fireplace for evenings when you are sat with a bottle of wine and a good film. If you forget your slippers, you do not have to worry- the bathroom has heated floors, as you step in feel transported to your favourite spa! The lower level bedrooms, named after activities that would draw you to the Huntsville area- "Lake" and "Golf" are perfect for additional guests or kids. One of the special features of this stunning scandinavian feeling property is the lower loft level which is perfect for getting stuck into a good book or your new WFC (Work from Cottage) space. The upper loft with its original 1974 hatch lets you wake up and fall asleep to the sounds of Mother Nature.

The Neighborhood:
While the inside of this Chalet are stunning, the excellently executed surrounding grounds create chic and invitied spots to dine, relax and enjoy. After a day on the hill, come back and soak in the hot tub as you have snowflakes float around you. In the summers enjoy mosquito free fires at either the front or back of the property. A short walk/drive to a private shallow access beach on Peninsula Lake with beach volleyball, kids play area and picnic spots. Peninsula Lake is part of a three-lake system throughout Huntsville connect you to Fairy Lake as well as Lake Vernon. For the nature enthusiast, venture out to nearby Algonquin Park or Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve for hiking adventures. Arrowhead Provincial Park offers miles of cross-country skiing and lights up the 1.3 km skating trail through the trees on weekends. You will find a multitude of great golf options just minutes away. The centre of Huntsville is a quick 10 minute drive to the local artisan shops and restaurants.
Getting Around:
LOCATION: About 2 hours north of Toronto. Just a 10 minute drive to the town of Huntsville for shopping, dining, gas, LCBO, groceries and all amenities. Easy day excursions to close by Algonquin and Arrowhead Provincial Parks, and many golf courses are nearby with world class golfing close at hand. Just a one minute walk to the Hidden Valley Ski Hill.
