Other great local attractions you can find nearby include Warren Falls, The Lareau Park, Granville Gulf Reservation State Forest, Hartshorn's Organic Farm Stand & Maple Sugar House, Northfield Falls Covered Bridge, Bolton Valley Resort, and Stowe Mountain Resort.

This home away from home is made up of two duplexes, one on each floor. The upstairs duplex enjoys a welcoming living room where you can spread out comfortably by the warmth of the electric fireplace and get ready for a tranquil evening streaming your favorite movies and shows on the smart TV with cable and streaming services (Amazon TV, YouTube TV, Disney + Prime, and Netflix). Board games are provided as well for additional entertainment. The home enjoys a well-appointed kitchen with all the essentials to prepare all the delicious homemade meals you would want. There is a deck with gorgeous tree-lined views where you all can unwind. Additional perks include a washer/dryer and a gas grill.

The lower-level duplex boasts two inviting living areas - both perfect for unwinding and streaming entertaining shows and movies on smart TVs with cable and streaming services (Amazon TV, YouTube TV, Disney + Prime, and Netflix). Delight yourself with fantastic slope views from the window while the gorgeous rock fireplace warms up the place in the blink of an eye. The home enjoys a modern, well-appointed kitchen with all the essentials to prepare all the delicious homemade meals you would want. Additional perks include board games and a beautiful patio.

Duped by Duplex

The home is being marketed as a single family 4 BR home. It's not clear from the pictures that it is in fact two units with no connecting staircase. The actual staircase goes to an empty loft/bedroom. I see why they emptied the loft, it's becaise the stairs are not to code and they are quite dangerous for children. The pictures also make it look larger than it is. The rooms are tiny. And the fireplace is fake and doesn't work. I'll never use Vacasa again. I was searching for a 4 bedroom single family house, why does this 2BR / 2 units appear in the search result? Sadly disappointed.

Location good, experience not so much

Ideal location for our weekend ski trip with friends and family, close to sugarbush. House is adequate but misleading. There are two separate parts, which means one family had to be separate from the other. The downstairs was older and bit more run down than the upstairs part. On checking in we were only given the code to the downstairs part, and took several attempts at communication with Vacasa for them to get us the code to a second lock box. Checking out was the most frustrating part. Check out is listed as 10am, which I understand is the policy but is super early. We asked if we could check out at 11, and the only answer was, sorry early checkouts are not available. Because we are communicating with Vacasa, there was no personal attempt to even adjust this. The only answer was “we understand, but 10am is our policy.” So frustrating. We had fully checked out at 10am and the kids were playing out front for a while, we ended up leaving the property after 11 and no cleaning person had shown up yet, so undoubtedly they could have been more flexible if they wanted to. It was almost like we were just getting a computerized response. My wife felt the downstairs had a bit of mildew especially in the bathroom. If the downstairs had been like the upstairs it would have been good. And just need to keep in mind it could be a problem if all bedrooms needed to be together, as there were only two beds in the downstairs and more in the separate area. Not my favorite experience…

Soggy Spring Break

We had hopes of reliving a memorable snowy, blue bird ski trip from several years ago, however warm temps and days of pouring rain dashed our expectations. Thankfully, we rented this very cozy, comfy cottage where we spent more time than expected. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs. When I first booked it, I didn’t realize the cottage is actually a duplex so the experience may be different if there are unknown people staying above or below. Overall, the cottage is very nicely updated, decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. The location is awesome- private, yet close to everything. There are even a few lovely hikes (even in the rain) within walking distance. We also liked that our dog was welcome. We don’t usually bring pets on vacation and sometimes I am leary of renting places that accept pets as cleanliness can be an issue. However, this place was very clean when we arrived. Vacasa was very responsive when we didn’t have one of the codes to get a key. We appreciated the small amenities like towel/linen service and that they provided things like dish soap, paper towels, and some kitchen basics like spices, coffee filters, and tea. I imagine this place would also be a fantastic summer retreat!
