Blunderosa Ranch, is an ideal place to relax and unwind.
my ancestors decided to settle here around 1852. The Ranch is set in the scenic foothills of the central coastal range, in what has become the heart of Oregon wine country.
Filled with 8-plus generations of family heirlooms and photos,
the Blunderosa Ranch house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a welcoming room for a variety of family activities where memories are made, and relationships are deepened.
Check out the neighborhood… The Blunderosa Ranch is the ideal place to stay as you are at the
center of adventures. We are 8-miles to Spirit Mountain Casino, and just over 30-miles west to the beach and Lincoln City; less than 25-miles east to Salem and the capital of Oregon; and about 20-miles northeast to McMinnville. In addition to the Evergreen Air Museum 2 the McMinnville Municipal city airport has a lighted, instrument landing system 5,420-foot runway, capable of handling corporate jet aircraft.
While in McMinnville checkout “Serendipity!” This old-fashioned ice-cream store has a creamery can from my great grandfather who worked for Sheridan Creamery! To run their store, Serendipity employs people who experience developmental disabilities!
Every small town has their own amazing community museum ; historic sites… Willamina (5 miles), Grand Ronde (8 miles), Sheridan (9 miles), Rickreall (14 miles), Independence (22 miles), McMinnville (20 miles).
Hot-air Balloon Adventures (Newberg-35 miles). To check out what else is close by see these websites:

We will have limited interaction with guests in person but are available via messaging and have neighbors down the road that help us with the property so help is close by!
The entirety of the property! We do use the shop and the garage for personal storage. You can wander and adventure!
The Heart the Ranch house… the family room includes a TV sitting area; two separate game-
craft-puzzle-coffee-wine sipping tables; plus a children’s play area with a gazillion building
blocks, “miles” of scaled wooden train-tracks with bridges, overpasses, rail-road crossings, roundhouse, and rail cars; a large set of old Lincoln Logs; a farm-dollhouse with furniture to arrange; books and dolls; plus grandpa T.L.’s aka “6Q” motorcycle rocker for your children to
rock to their heart’s content.
Enjoy the Beautiful Outdoors… is an archery-range (bring your own equipment); a horseshoe pit with a set of professional horseshoes; a rope swing; a roping “calf” and lariat; a picnic at the table under the pavilion; and a Dutch Oven and old Oregon-trail recipes. Want to camp outside? There is plenty of room: just bring a tent, tarp, or sleep under-the-stars!
Explore the 45-acre Ranch… climb the back hill for a 360-degree view that includes the Oregon Coast foothills and views of Mt. Hood; or gather your own family and wander over to the “old family tree with the massive burl” like mine has for generations and take your own “family tree” photo. When in season you can also pick from our 4-year-old orchard. With more than 20 trees, we have a variety of apples, apricots, cherries, peaches, pears, plums, nectarines, almonds, walnuts, and filbert trees, as well as raspberries and thornless blackberries.
Horses, Quads… we are working to expand our “quad” and walking trails. While the property is not yet fenced for horses, bring your horses, and then ride out, set-up your own horse camp, stake your horses in the field, and enjoy the great outdoors for a few days. (RV electrical hookup next to ranch shop).
Wildlife… check out the south wall of the family room where you will find “Teddy” the Boone & Crocket record Roosevelt elk from the ranch. In addition to a seasonal resident elk herd, we have wild turkeys most days!
