My extended family of 6 came to town for our nephews high school graduation from both Pittsburgh and Sanibel Fl- Driving. We stayed a total of 3 nights. After our 2 groups arrived from
Our long drives , we all wanted to shower and hang out, unfortunately the bathroom shower main valve was broken and that bathroom couldn’t be used. So all 6 of us had to share the upstairs bathroom and all take turns. Not Fun! I notified the owner and he said he was out of town and would get back to me . He texted me (not through the app) on our last day and said he was coming to fix the shower and if he couldn’t he would give a partial refund. Well he never showed. Along with the shower issue, there was cockroach spray left on the mantle in the main living room, my daughter saw 2 cockroaches during the nights . I can handle that but to leave the spray out for us to use?!? C’mon now! There were only 4 bath towels for 6 guests and I asked the owner if there were more and he said to look under the kitchen sink. The ice maker in the refrigerator was not hooked up and the hose for that hookup was still in the packaging Inside the refrigerator, so we had to buy bags of ice. The dishwasher was fifth and had a terrible odor. The neighborhood is quiet and nice . This is the first time I have had an issue with any of my stays. The owner has not responded to myself nor to the VRBO reps regarding any type of partial refund .
