Frustrated

We were informed it wasn’t available then next day they ran our c. card after we reserved 4 nights at hotel. Had to cancel hotel. Then we get there and signs in bathrooms said no toilet paper was to be flushed. Contacted owner to say we are not comfortable with unsanitary practice and will only be staying the one night and checking out next morning. We asked to get a refund for the remaining 4 nights. He said no, because contract is non-refundable! Not right due to fact his plumbing request/issues were not posted in his listing! We have never had an issue with VRBO sites, but now we do!!!!
