Welcome to The Farmhouse at Cherryhill, a spacious two story home in the beautiful countryside of Lancaster County! With 3 BR & 1 BA, this fully stocked, 1800’s farmhouse is located on a working orchard and is perfect for your next getaway.
Our 1800’s farmhouse is surrounded by beautiful farmland as well as nearby Amish farms. Take a short drive into Lancaster City or enjoy the beauty of the rolling hills of southern Lancaster County. Lancaster County has lots to see and do!

The space
Our 1848 farmhouse is 175 years old and is
imperfectly perfect! During your stay, you will have
access to the two story house and yard surrounding
the house.
Enjoy a cup of coffee on the wraparound porch
before starting your day's adventure! Take a short
drive to Lancaster City and enjoy delicious dining,
art galleries and historic Central Market, the
country's longest continuously running farmers
market. Enjoy a scenic drive in the southern river
hills or through the sprawling farmland throughout
the county. Lancaster County has beautiful rail trails
along the Susquehanna River as well as scenic parks,
such as Pinnacle or Susquehannock State Park.
Enjoy a drive into Amish country, where you can get
a peek into the peaceful lifestyle of our Amish
community and hear the clip clop of the horse
drawn buggies as they meander down the roads.
Lancaster County has lots to see and do! We are
located approximately 45 minutes from Hershey,
PA, a bit over an hour to Philadelphia and 1.5 hours
to Baltimore. We are approximately 20 minutes
from the Lancaster Country Club, where the 2024
U.S. Women's Open will be hosted on May 27-June
2,2024.
The farmhouse is located on a busy, but peaceful
working orchard. The farm lane is shared with farm
employees and vehicles & farm equipment. Please
be careful around the lane and parking areas and be
aware of passing farm equipment and vehicles.
Our historic house is not handicapped accessible
and has several steps to get into the main living
area, as well as a flight of steps to get to the
bedrooms and bathroom. This home may not be
the best fit for families with small children.
The house has two window unit air conditioners
(one upstairs and one downstairs) that are used
seasonally. The upstairs bedrooms may need their
doors open to be able to enjoy the air conditioning.
Each bedroom has a ceiling fan.
No pets or animals allowed.
A smart TV is available which guests can log into
their own subscriptions. There is Wi-Fi available.
No smoking.
We kindly ask that you are gentle and strive to care
for this historic home so we can use it and enjoy it
for many generations!

This is a single home where you will have access to
the first and second floors. First floor: Kitchen,
dining room, living room, sitting room and
wraparound porch.
Second floor: two bedrooms with queen beds, one
bedroom with 2 twin beds, laundry room and full
bathroom.
