I like the mountain area. My son lives in Waynesville, but I opt for my own quiet place. The unit I stayed in was downstairs, a basement turned into a one bedroom. It was very clean. the unit above is very noisy. You can hear the people above walking back and forth. It frequently sounded like they were running and bowling, yes bowling. The upstairs renters came in on Friday afternoon and was upset and called the owners because my son was parked in one of their two parking spaces- they had one car. My car was in its designated ONE parking spot and the upstairs got two spots, but they only had one vehicle as well. The owners emailed me- I was not on the internet and did not see their email until that night, but they attempted to call me and then texted me to MOVE my vehicle and indicated that they were not aware I had more than one vehicle and that I only get one of the parking spaces (I knew this as I read the instruction as where to park). I was traveling myself and only had one car, but nowhere does it say I was not allowed to have visitors and my son was just there for 15 minutes dropping off the grandboys to me. Also, I was there four nights and only had two towels. My grandson's stayed one night with me, so they shared the one towel, and I used one towel for four days.

Affordable Charmer
Well cared for, super clean charmer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully updated, 1 floor unit in the woods above Lake Junaluska. Hosts were very communicative & responsive. Loved the front porch & fire pit and the sounds of the birds! Many thanks!
