Topanga Canyon Beautiful Monarch House

Relax in total comfort in our Topanga House. Kick back and enjoy the abundant nature that surrounds us. Located between the Pacific Ocean and the Valley you are also minutes away from every modern convience LA has to offer. We are adjacent to the Topanga State Park, think Central Park times 1000. It is a huge 3000 acre wilderness with many trails, and natural features. Biking is allowed on many trails.. and hiking.. Dogs are allowed in a different part of the canyon, not in the State Park.

Fun and comfortable hideaway

Thad was a wonderful and welcoming host. The house was clean and charming. Staying at the Monarch House was a high point of our trip. Thank you for the incredible stay!

Topanga

Such a beautiful property and location! I had no idea you could be this close to LA and still be secluded next to a state park! The house is unique and creative. Very comfortable and great amenities: huge back porch, grill , two full baths , a lemon tree with lemons!!, washer drier. I highly recommend this property. It is not spotless (cobwebs and dust and some spooky cushions here and there) but the important things (bathrooms, kitchen counters) were clean.

What makes this property unique

With a natural spring, several buildings, this is a compound. Several people live on the property but we all have our respectiful privacy. Its a great way to have community but have privacy at the same time.
