Infested with roaches!!!

We checked in on Sunday after a long 13 hour drive. We put our items in the bedrooms and headed off to the store. When coming back it was dark and we turned on the lights and seen bugs running. They was very fast and I didn’t get a good look. My daughter was getting a pan out and said there a baby bug it was a roach. These bugs was everywhere in the kitchen. I tried to reach the owner left a message via email it has been a week and still haven’t heard anything from him. We called the property manager Graham and at first he tried to say we probably brought them in. I shut that down really fast. Meanwhile I was on the phone with vrbo sending pictures ect. They called Graham also and around 10:30pm he came and strayed the house and took all dishes out of the cabinet. Which left a big mess and we cannot use any of the dishes. He was waiting on the next move form vrbo. Also, my daughter is asthmatic in the spray mess with her breathing. At 4 am I woke with a roach on my chest. I was done! Vrbo moved us to a hotel …. I wouldn’t recommend this house!! Have yet to hear from the owner.

Adequate

The home is spacious with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. 1 prison towel per guest, 1 hand towel per bathroom and NO rags for either the bath or kitchen. The beds are outdated - springy and noisy- we had skinny and larger women and we all thought the same. Make sure to bring everything you need-nothing is provided except for the bare minimum. There is NOT a hot tub at this location, the picture is not accurate. The jets barely move the water and even after paying to heat the pool and spa they were cool -at best. You know a heated pool when the temps get down to 60 degrees, you can see some steam rising and still go swimming- not here. This rental is adequate. You get what you pay for-

This property needs some major TLC to bring it up to the standards of any of the homes we have rented over the last 12 years of visiting Florida. Graham the property manager was outstanding trying to help with the many issues of the property that appear to have been ongoing

Not Good and would like a refund

The furniture was old and on the floor, bugs running all over the house, the vents in every room were dirty, the jets on the hottub didn't work. The care take for the house came and dropped off bug spray and said it's not his job. My whole ftamily ended up with respitory issues during our stay do to dust and dirt. It was Thanksgiving and we made the best of it 6 towels and no wash clothes. 1st bedroom as soon as you enter the house TV had volume but no picture. THIS WAS THE WORST EVER! Care taker sat out in front of the house the day before check out for an hour before knocking on the door to say the he was just waiting for the furniture the owner was having deliveried .
