ABOUT THIS SPACE
My iconic yellow home on the slopes of Green Point enjoys incredible Ocean views and everything you need to feel at home in the beautiful city of Cape Town. The location is perfect to join the action in town or quickly dash to the sea, is right between the Waterfront and Sea Point, making sure you don't need to miss out anything. It's modern look & feel will make you want to stay longer than you planned and is addictive like Cape Town itself. Be welcome!

THE SPACE
I am renting out our personal home while we are travelling the world. It has all the amenities you're looking for - whether that's the pool, double garage, up to four bedrooms (the home office with it's a futon sleeper couch doubles as 4th bedroom) and two full bath rooms with incredible privacy.

Having the fastest available fiber based internet for my home office is of big importance for me and that is why I installed a 400/200 Mbit fiber line into the house, powered by Vanilla ISP and a router/repeater setup covering every corner of the house (see Speedtest screenshot).

GUEST ACCESS
You'll be able to access and use the whole house, except for the storeroom in the basement, where all our personal belongings are locked in. Most of the time one of the two garage parking spots will be occupied by my blue&yellow AC Shamrock Cobra, use of it is NOT included in the rental price (but happy to discuss if you want to take her for a joyride...)

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The 230 sqm house can sleep 7 adults in 3 king/queen and 1 solo beds but is probably more comfortable when occupied by 2-4 adults only. This is a beautifully light home and light sleepers may note the absence of blackout curtains and the bright morning sun.

I always love having guests over but it is not meant to be used as a party location for 10+ people or as a commercial photo/film shoot location without prior arrangement and production rates.

Kids will love the pool and some of my daughters toys; however, the home is not fully child-proofed, with an unprotected staircase, balustrade, and pool area.

The house features air conditioning in the main bedroom only. For those who prefer cooler temperatures, please consider this. The house offers excellent natural ventilation during summer when utilizing the sliding doors with secure steel grids for a comfortable, natural sleep environment. I have personally NEVER used the A/C in 11 summer seasons living there.
