Pros: Property manager is very responsive. Easy check-in process. Walking distance to the Oasis Club (lazy river). Conveniently located to Orlando attractions such as Disney Parks and Universal Studios. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, and pharmacies. Plenty of space to accommodate our large group of 11. Cons: Bacteria in the pool made the majority of our group sick with various illnesses including fevers, stomach viruses, rashes, and ear infections. Medical attention was needed. The pool company was called to come twice, however, they didn’t fix the issue. They didn’t even test the water but told the property manager that they did. Extremely uncomfortable beds in every room. Congested highways in the area, sometimes it took over 2 hours to drive 18miles to Disney. Pool cues all broken. Fridge froze our food and drawer was broken. Rats and lizards in the enclosed patio, be careful when opening the patio door so they don’t enter the home. Very dirty baseboards, walls, blinds. Needs a deep clean. No toiletries provided, be prepared to buy all basics, including dish soap, laundry soap for towels, and toilet paper.

TLC needed

Owner was very responsive to our concerns. Many changes since our stay two years ago: the spa and pool did not heat, broken table lamp (top of lamp snapped off) in the downstairs bedroom, corners and most of the base moldings in all rooms need cleaning. Walls leading through the entry and to the stairs need cleaning and painting, several light bulbs out, some were replaced after we asked…, except the light in the toilet of the master bath, broken drawers in the dresser of the master bedroom, no cable box in the master bedroom, so no TV function, light bulb in refrigerator is out, broken drawer in the frig, pool net has become detached from the pole so we were unable to remove leaves at bottom of the pool, living room furniture is old, dirty and has 2 dining room type chairs instead of living room chairs, so not enough comfortable seating for 8 people. Our thought was that people staying in this home in the past two years have been really hard on it, it needs some serious TLC.

Very disappointing

Gate guard did not have our names when we arrived so we had to call property manager. House not very clean. Trash in yard and in different places in house. Hair on bathroom floors. No hand soap or hand towels in bathrooms. No bath mats so dangerous. Seating shown in main room online was not what was there when we arrived. Overall a very disappointing experience. Would not rent again.

Extraordinary Vacation

I enjoyed my stay at Champion Gates. A beautiful and maintained community. The house was clean and roomy. Convenient location to the amusement parks and shopping. The Host was very helpful as well. Definitely will return!
