Nice house, poor cleaning
The house was perfect for 8 people as we had 2 people per bed, but if we had any more, they would have had to sleep on the couch. When we arrived, we noticed that the top bunk bed was not fully made, but every other bed was. The floor felt as if it had sand all over it from the previous stay. The table was also extremely sticky. We used plates the first night and as we went to put the dishes away in the dishwasher, we noticed it looked like there was mold all on the bottom of the dishwasher which was very off putting. Also, when we got cups out of the cabinet we noticed they were not clean either and had some kind of residue in them. The rest of the trip we used paper towels and plastic cups for meals. As we walked outside we noticed the pool was green and not clean so we did not get a chance to use it. The “hot tub” was also not working, but we were not told that until I asked the owner about it and they said the “hot tub” wasn’t even a real hot tub which I felt was very different than what the listing says. The bikes we also broken. We were only supplied with one trash bag and a few rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. We felt as if this was a cheap way to save money as we had to go buy more rolls of everything even though we were only there for 4 days.
Overall, the house was good for what we needed, but we would have appreciated a better cleaning job and a bigger stock of supplies so we don’t have to stock up while we are only there for a couple days.
