Camp Vava on Drummond Island
Welcome to Camp Vava! Thoughtfully designed and built as a family "camp" in 2007, this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home + bunkhouse sleeps 10 (12 with futon). With 220' of shoreline and a dock on pristine Whitney Bay, the main house sleeps 4 (6 with futon) and the summer bunk house sleeps 6. Fun signs with photos of happy campers are posted along the tree-lined drive leading to this ideal family retreat location.
The main house is light and bright with cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, lots of comfy rugs and furniture, custom artwork and a cozy wood stove. The bunk house is cool and comfortable with two bunk beds (full beds on the bottom and twin beds on top), a Smart TV, and an outdoor shower.
Kids and furry friends alike will love the large yard, dock and swim area, while adults enjoy a cup or hot coffee or a cold beverage on the four-season porch, screened porch, dock platform or around one of two fire pit areas. "Kids" of all ages can explore the shoreline by kayak (4) or paddle board (3), or relax on an inflatable float. In the evenings, grilling is easy on the new Blackstone Griddle!
