Lovely cabin in beautiful area
We stayed in the cabin last week and was very impressed with how lovely the cabin was. It was very clean and homely and had everything you needed for your stay. The sauna was especially good an excellent way to relax and unwind after walking round the area. The added touch of wine, biscuits and cake was more than expected. The only issue we had which turned out to be quite a big issue was with the beds. The mattress was very uncomfortable which resulted in us having two nights of no sleep. For anyone who enjoys a very soft mattress this wouldn't be an issue but unfortunately for us we couldn't sleep on it. Both beds were the same. This resulted in us being extremely tired and didn't enjoy the relaxing weekend that we hoped for. The rest of the lodge was beautiful though but unfortunately we wouldn't stay again unless the mattresses were changed. The neighbours were very friendly and approachable and it's not a far walk into the town.
We are very happy that you enjoyed the lodge facilities, the sauna and it’s peaceful surroundings. We are happy that you got out and about walking with your husband
It is unfortunate that neither of you enjoyed your sleep.
The lodge is highly specified and we enjoy comments from guests who return to stay with us about the comfort and relaxing peacefulness of the accommodation.
Thank you for your comments, we always welcome feedback
A place to unwind
Bentley Lodge was a delight. Lovely setting, quiet and peaceful. The lodge was clean and comfortable. Lovely touches my the owners, M&S chocolates, cakes and wine left for us. Spent the weekend with my 82yr old mum and brother. Was quality time well spent, mum throughly enjoyed it.
Great spot 5mins outside of Bridgenorth. Very peaceful, lots of space and home comforts in the lodge. Very responsive owners.
What a great find this Pine Lodge was. Four of us stayed for 2 days and we all had a relaxing time. It has everything you will ever need for your stay. The hosts are very helpful if you have any queries or questions. Lovely little touch was finding an enjoyable bottle of wine and some milk in the fridge, there was also a box of yummy cakes and a packet of biscuits too. As it was a bank holiday we found it very difficult to book a taxi to Bridgnorth, this didn't worry us though as we really enjoyed ordering a takeaway and sitting eating it on the balcony. We will return to this delightful Lodge at some point and have no hesitation recommending it to anyone
Our week in Bentley Lodge is coming to a close and sadly we will be leaving Saturday morning to head north. We have thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful relaxing week long stay in premises so well stocked with the bits and pieces that being overseas visitors we would have to go without or have to carry around the country for example spices, salt and pepper, tea & coffee and the like. The welcome package that you left for us was most welcome and a delight to find, thank you.
In Australia we have some unique animals but it was relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the squirrels feeding in the morning.
If we return to the UK, Bentley Lodge would be the first place to be added to our itinerary and we would have no hesitation in recommending your property as it is the best that we have stayed in.
Loved the stay wish it was for longer and hope to go again

Astbury Hall is a new and exciting 27 hole championship golf course being built situated just up Astbury Lane and surrounded by Shropshire’s uppermost beautiful and dramatic countryside. With 9 holes now completed , and a second nine holes near completion, Astbury is well on the way to its goal of being the premiership golfing and leisure facility in the county. Contact Astbury Hall manager Sean Jarvis - 07547 747707. Owned by rock group Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing, the course has an excellent balance of being of premier standard, without the stuffiness normally associated with high-end golf clubs. KK has said 'Although the course and all its amenities will be high-end, it won't be the sort of place that would run Rodney Dangerfield out of the clubhouse'
