Enjoy your Cape Cod vacation at this beautiful central air-conditioned Harwichport home! With 3 bedrooms and an extra sleeper sofa in the basement, it sleeps up to 9 comfortably. The main level of the home features an updated kitchen and open layout with Cape Cod décor. There is a dining table off the kitchen and a comfortable living area. The first bedroom offers a queen sized bed, the second features 1 twin and 1 twin trundle (sleeping up to 3) and the third bedroom offers a queen sized bed with en suite half bath. There is also a full bath on the main floor. In the finished, walk out basement is a TV seating area with a double pull out sleeper sofa for extra sleeping, as well as air hockey and foosball tables for rainy day fun! Outside is a spacious deck complete with outdoor furniture and a gas grill, as well as an enclosed outdoor shower. Located a little under a mile to Harwichport center with shops and restaurants, about 1 mile to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, close to Go-Carts, trampolines, bumper boats & bumper cars, and a little under 1.5 miles to popular Bank Street beach on Nantucket Sound. Multiple issues with home

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was set up nicely. Great location. One of the bedrooms had a giant human hair ball on the floor as soon as we arrived as if the room wasn’t cleaned. The shower didn’t work for the first 4 outof 7 days we were scheduled to be there, with staff having to be called each day with a new issue to send someone, or send a new plumber. The 6th day there was water coming from the ceiling and a flooded hallway, resulting in my family losing a night of stay and leaving early.

clean place close to town

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only thing we had a problem with was quality of the beds and the fact that the front storm door wouldn't close as the door closer wasn't installed properly. Also there were 2 other storm doors that were installed with the locking mechanism on the outside as opposed to the inside. Weather stripping on the front door allowed cold air in. This wouldn't have happened if the storm had closed properly. The side-slope in the driveway made it difficult to access our car topper(but probably needed for winter drainage).

Cape Cod Vacation

The house was clean and nicely decorated. The queen beds were cheap and uncomfortable. I notified Victoria at 1pm (at the Chatham office) that we would be arriving later because the connecting flight In Dallas was delayed. She shared with me that the keys and rental packet would be in a gray box. We arrived at 1230am to find no rental packet or keys in the gray box. They were put in the mailbox instead. Arrived at the rental property to with keys that unlocked the garage. The house was keyless entry which required a code. We were given no code. The realty company wasn’t empathetic to the mistakes made, instead stated that this rarely happens. The truth is it happened !

Great house that's close to shops, restaurants and beaches in Harwich Port

6 Old Tavern Lane has recently been renovated and allowed plenty of room for this family of five. We enjoyed the large deck for outdoor dining. The house is very clean and well equipped. We loved being able to walk into Harwich Port and we're only a five minute car ride to beaches.

Cute house close to everything

This house is in Harwichport, so don't know why it's listed as South Dennis. It's in a great, convenient location within a very short drive to shops, restaurants, beach and the super market. The finished basement is a great place for the kids to hang out and play. The deck is large and comfortable and the outdoor shower/changing room was very nice. Although the yard is large, it's really unusable as it is not landscaped. They provide 3 beach chairs and toys so you don't need to bring any. There were also bikes, which we ended up not using, but it was nice to have the option. Each bedroom had air conditioner units which worked well. The main room had only a fan. Overall we had a great time as the weather was close to perfect the week we were there. My only recommmendation to the owners would be to change the frame on the twin bed in the twin room, as it squeaked loudly with every movement. Otherwise, we loved the house and would love to visit again some day!
