The upstairs smelled like feet for some reason and most of the room doors had no handles so it was hard to get in and out

Disaster!!

Our family did not stay at the property as it was a construction zone when we arrived for check in. It's important to note that there had been communication prior to the scheduled check in time and not once was there any mention of a contractor being on site or the home undergoing construction. We were forced to book a hotel for the first night and then work to book another home for our party of nine for these rest of our scheduled stay. This was completely unacceptable! I will note that hours after check in time we were contacted and told that we could return because the contractors were gone but we declined due to safety concerns - carpet was pulled up, it was dusty, had remnants of debris, etc. We requested a full refund and informed the host of the difficulty that this matter caused us. Please be aware of this host and this home! We definitely wanted to stay but not under the circumstances!
