About this property
Rock Lot – A 5 Star Vacation!
Summary:
Your next vacation destination can be found in picturesque Rexford, a charming town that offers a serene escape for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts from near and far.
The Space:
Located near the Canadian border, this picturesque community is encased by the stunning Kootenai National Forest, providing a perfect backdrop for a tremendous variety of recreational activities. At Rock Lot, a stately 3-bedroom home with unparalleled views of Whitefish Range, surrounding tree-lined forests and vast countryside, you’re certain to feel right at home between the comfortable accommodations and welcoming community spirit.
Rexford is a gateway to the majestic Lake Koocanusa, a sparkling reservoir that stretches over 90 miles, offering ample opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, and picnicking along its scenic shores. The lake's crystal-clear waters and abundant fish species make it a paradise for anglers, while the surrounding hills and forests invite hikers and mountain bikers to explore their winding trails. A winding drive to the nearby Ten Lakes Scenic Area provides further adventures for those looking to immerse themselves in the wilderness. To make the most out of your adventures, the home also provides 3 kayaks and beach towels for making your water-themed activities a literal breeze.
At the end of long days exploring, find your way out onto the deck to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine while you soak up even more of the fresh forest air and reflect on the fun of the day. Heading indoors, the cabin-chic interior showcases warm wood trim and accents blending beautifully with the sophisticated décor and modern touches. Sink into plush leather sofa and recliner seating in the living room as you stream episodes of all your favorite shows on the smart TV. Steps away, the stylish kitchen features stainless steel appliances, glossy granite countertops, and rich cabinetry stocked with all the cookware and dining ware you need to prepare meals right at home. Gather together for formal dining or a spontaneous game night at the table with seating for 8, while high-top stools at the counter provide a venue for assisting in mealtime activities or noshing on a spread of afternoon appetizers.
This home comfortably sleeps 9 guests between 3 private bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the downstairs living room.
Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed and Jack & Jill bathroom with a dual vanity and shower/tub combo.
Bedroom #2 includes a king size bed.
Bedroom #3, the bunkhouse, includes a twin-over-full bunk bed and a smart TV.
The home also includes an additional full guest bathroom with a single vanity and walk-in shower.
THINGS TO NOTE:
• Washer and dryer in home.

Situated in the lovely, forested corner of northwest Montana—between the Purcell and Salish mountains on the northern banks of Lake Koocanusa—the mountain community of Rexford is a recreation lover's paradise. Rexford is ideal for camping, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, boating and rock climbing (at nearby Stone Hill). Check out what some of our prior guests have to say about this spectacular home!
“This place is great for couples. The views and decor are perfect and comfortable. We spent a lot of time outside on the deck with a great view. The kitchen has everything you need to make a big meal and for multiple people as well as the BBQ on the deck. Beds were comfortable and the bunk room off the garage was perfect for our single friend. Location was close to the marina but not you will need a car if you are loading coolers up. We will for sure rent this place again, thanks for the great weekend house!”
“Very well stocked! Everything you need for a comfortable vacation. Comfortable house in a good location. Would come back again for sure. Prompt and friendly host as well.”
