Would try again but not sure

Major issue with booking (which I got a confirmation on 9/12 that I had it). Payment made and cleared. Had to wait 2 days before any information about parking. Host or VRBO cancelled reservation the MORNING we were getting there. Owner then changed it and gave it back but expected me to rerent which I couldn't do because VRBO's system said it wasn't available. Finally, the owner emailed and said it was confirmed. 4 people - 2 towels???? No fresh toilet paper. No notice that we had to bring anything such as shampoo/conditioner. Communication was poor.

Questionable

Booked 09/12/24 for to stay 10/19-10/21 confirmed via email. On 10/19/24 at 12:00am, got an email saying "owner" sent a refund bc rental had been cancelled. A problem with the system. I reached out. At 1230am on the 19th, got a call from VRBO (?) and after 3 minutes was told the owner will rent it back to me. Owner got on the same call and said to go back and rerent. Tried. Didn't work. I emailed him again to say it wasn't working and that he needed to fix it. He did by 6am that morning. No toilet paper. Only 2 towels for a 4 person rental (there were 4). Really cool design. Not sure I'd stay again.

Not secure

The handle on the front door is very loose and, while there is a keypad, that one isn’t used. The patio doors at the rear are not secure. The screws were removed from the panel on the right so, even though you lock the middle sliders, any one can enter the property. Host was fairly communicative until I brought this up. We had left our belongings in there for a few hours before we discovered this situation, then had to stay the night knowing anyone could enter at any time. Washcloths were not provided. Host stated housekeeping would bring them, but never showed. Keurig is present but no k-cups. Kitchen supplies sparse, but thankfully we didn’t need any.
