Severely lacking interior comfort
We appreciate the effort, but the inside is lacking, the yard is beautiful, though we didn’t use it on this trip. It was appreciated to provide coffee and filters. However, our stay was less comfortable than expected due to several issues.
The home is very minimally furnished and equipped. The kitchen had no appliances beyond a coffee maker, and the provided trash can was very small—about the size of one you’d expect in a bathroom—making it impractical for a kitchen. The bathroom and kitchen lacked essential supplies, the towels were small, thin, and of lower quality, and only enough for our 5 guest. There were no extra blankets available. The absence of a washer and dryer added to the inconvenience.
The master bed was uncomfortable, sagging noticeably in the middle and forming a “V” shape. The TVs were small, cheap, and didn’t work well, which was disappointing. Additionally, the WiFi didn’t work at the start of our trip, and the host’s response was, “We’ve never had an issue,” which didn’t resolve the problem.
While the home was clean overall, the carpets were heavily stained and looked disgusting, which detracted from the overall experience.
The house feels empty and under-equipped, which may not meet the needs of guests looking for a more comfortable or accommodating stay. This property may work better for those who only need a very basic place to stay. We are a larger family looking for a home like experience and this definitely missed the mark.
