Deception at its best
While the cabin was quaintly decorated it was lacking from cleanliness to a poorly stocked kitchen. The refrigerator coil cover was covered in black mold as well as both showers. Cob webs were visible throughout as well as a brown recluse spider found in a kitchen cupboard. Every useful kitchen utensil was either not to be found or was damaged/broken. There was no cutting board so we had to go purchase one ourselves. The only cutting/chopping knife available was actually a serrated bread knife and the blade was broken! Three little steak knives so flimsy it was pointless to use them. The assumption shouldn’t be that everyone eats out when staying here, therefore it’s not important to adequately stock the kitchen. This place is in the middle of nowhere, plus it gets expensive eating every meal out. Also there was a notification in one of the kitchen cupboards regarding the water quality and safety for consumption. The floors had a sticky feeling, carpet needed cleaning…probably one of the least satisfying VRBO locations I’ve stayed at.
