This is a 2BR/1BA apartment with balcony located at the lower section of the property. It's very quiet and relaxing. It has a classic caribbean vibe making it easy to tune out the world and re-sync with yourself.

In 2004 this property was voted #1 for beautification and featured on a local TV channel.

We are located on the east end of St Thomas, near Red Hook in an area called Nazareth (like in the bible). The neighborhood is professional middle class, mostly quiet. Older community. Classic caribbean homesteads.

Was nice and quiet, though we were the only ones in the building (there were several other units in the same structure). It's a safe and easy walk down to Secret Harbor, which is a very nice beach with some quite good snorkeling. Walking to the "main drag" in Red Hook or to the other nearby shopping is along a busy road with no shoulder or sidewalk, and was not pleasant. We just drove after the first time. Kitchen is small, but functional. Master bedroom very comfortable. Second bedroom, a little less so, but okay.

Visitors from the high desert in Colorado

The heat and humidity was more than I am accustomed to, but what the heck, I was on a gorgeous island! The property was dated, but appliances and everything was in good working order. The house was very clean, passing the finger test over edges and ledges. We would/will stay there again if we have the opportunity.

Why they chose this property

This property was chosen because of it's proximity to St John where much of my family and youthful memories reside. But, you know you always have to give a little distance from those you love.

What makes this property unique

You're within walking distance of Red Hook which has a lot of bar/restaurants, gaming (slots), grocery, pharmacy, marina (charter private boats, captain school), and the ferry to St John and the BVI (passport).

Best of all, Secret Harbor Resort is a 10 min walk away. The beach is beautiful. There's Sunset Grill. Personally, I like to get a Sunset Burger, two Rum Punches, and then float.

If you want a more authentic island experience, we can guide you to some nice locations that aren't necessarily on the tourists path.
