The spacious living and dining areas allows for large gatherings while enjoying ocean views, and the wrap-around, ocean-facing deck provides plenty of deck furniture for sun bathing and taking in the ocean breeze. There's also a top, ocean-facing deck for additional outside relaxation! "Pointe of View" features no shortage of amenities, including a private walkway to the ocean, washer and dryer area, upgraded kitchen, enclosed outside shower, dog-friendly, free WiFi, and even a hide-away hammock area under the home!

Wonderful Experience

This property was literally on the beach separated only by a dune. House was very comfortable for 8 adults. House was well appointed with all items we needed. Very quiet neighborhood. Very enjoyable experience for all who stayed.

Best location possible!

the property was just as listed! Perfect location for easy beach access and the closed in deck was awesome for the dogs! Only thing I would suggest is to update the outdoor gate wheels/door knobs at the home, otherwise it was great!

Great Location with some issues

Overall it was okay. We tried to wash kitchen ware before using. Some cups appeared to be unwashed, so we devoted a lower shelf for things we'd washed and would use. The dining room rug had some dog hairs, seemed to not have been vacuumed, and the upstairs bedroom curtain had pet hairs on it (which was obvious as the curtains are black). The outside trash bin's wheels were broken and couldn't be rolled. The inside picture window had smudges, finger/hand prints etc., on the inside. I wiped it clean as best as I could. I'd think the cleaners should note these issues. Overall, would stay again just for the view!

Great Vacation

Pros: A few steps off the back deck and you are on the beach. Far better views of ocean than neighboring houses. Plenty of chairs and seating outside. Top deck even has just enough roof overhand to be able to enjoy the view out of the weather. The only thing missing was a pool. We rented this house do to the non busy location in South Nags Head and the affordable price. It was perfect size for 4 adults, a baby and a dog. Cons: Cleanliness was slightly lacking. There was sand under the living room furniture, no big deal. We pod to have linens provided and linens weren’t there when we arrived, however Cove Reality was attentive and contacted the linen company who quickly brought them when we called. Amenities listed on listing did not include grill and close to 10 beach chairs, an umbrella and some toys, however were at the house. All of these being listed would have saved us valuable cargo space. All in all was a great experience. Beaches were not crowded at all and we loved being able to have our pup with us. Cove Realty rocks! I would advise not booking through VRBO in the future, contact Cove directly. It would save you around $200 or more and VRBO’s customer service is not very good. It was very hard for myself and customer service to understand each other. Great first beach time for our baby!
