Blue Haven~Pigeon Forge

Escape to your peaceful & private retreat in the highly sought after area in the heart of Wears Valley! Located in Sevierville TN, known as the “gateway to the Smokies”.

This charming one level cabin offers the ultimate combination of comfort and convenience making it the ideal destination for a romantic getaway, family vacation, or outdoor adventure.

The cabin is only 10 minutes to the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and 25 minutes to Gatlinburg/ Smoky Mountain National Park.

The cabin is single level, spacious and offers an open concept layout. It has been completely renovated to include all new kitchen appliances, granite countertops with a seating area and several brand-new kitchen accessories to include knives, pans, dishes and many other common kitchen needs/accessories.

The living room is spacious and cozy and has a fireplace and an oversized recliner. The couch also pulls " up" to a full size bed for sleeping, or for a comfy movie night!

There is a workstation/desk for anyone who may need to work equipped with desklights, USB charging station and AC outlets.

Enjoy eating together or playing games in the dining area that opens up to the living/ kitchen area and comfortably seats 6 +.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, electric fireplace, private entrance and bathroom with spa tub. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with a set of bunk beds and a private bath.
 
The game room is spacious and perfect for entertaining and leisure activities. With a pool table, tv and games for all ages, you are certain to stay busy should you decide to "hang in". There is also a sleep sofa.

Every room is has a ROKU TV for streaming and cable and the cabin is equipped with Hi speed wifi. And each room is equipped with a battery operated lantern light ( just in case!).

Step outside to discover the huge wrap around deck with serene surroundings and a seasonal mountain view.  Nieighbors are close by, but not to close!

The outdoor space offers plenty of room to kick back, sip your morning coffee, or enjoy a barbeque with family or friends. With a private hot tub, you can unwind after a day of exploring or simple enjoy a quiet evening under the stars.
 
There is parking for 2 vehicles. The outdoor area is equipped with motion lights / security cameras.

Between the large living and dining area, the game room and outdoor space, there is plenty of room for everyone to move around and not invade each others’ space.

Self-check-in with a smart lock on the front door. A unique code will be provided a couple of days before arrival. Guests have access to the entire cabin except for a small owner’s closet (located in the Master bedroom/bath)

As you leave the cabin and head out onto Wears Valley Road, you’re surrounded by breathtaking views of the mountains.

If you turn right onto Wears Valley Road there are a several restaurants and stores minutes from the house if you don't feel like dealing with the traffic in Pigeon Forge.

There are also beautiful back road routes over to Gatlinburg avoiding the Parkway.

The beauty and history of Wears Valley TN makes it a fantastic area to explore while on vacation in the Smokies, but did you know that it’s also home to a secret entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park?

Instead of driving through Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, you can enjoy quick access to the national park and incredible views along the way.

6 minutes from Wear Cove.If you’ve never taken a drive through Wears Valley into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you are really missing out on the beauty of the Smokies! The Wears Valley entrance (also referred to as the Wears Cove entrance) is a secret spot, typically where many of the locals will go to enter the national park. During the peak seasons, this entrance is a great way to skip the crowds and head straight into the park. You’ll be able to access popular areas via the Wears Cove entrance, including Newfound Gap, Elkmont, Cades Cove, Tremont, the Townsend “Wye” (a great area for swimming), and many hiking trails in Wears Valley, since it connects to Little Gorge River Road.

When you’re on vacation in the Smoky Mountains, you probably want to take the scenic routes to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Wears Valley is the best place to experience true Southern charm and endless mountain scenery.

Stunning Mountain Scenery: Known for its open land and quiet environment, this higher-elevation valley is unbelievable, especially in the fall when showcasing all of the great colors of the mountains. On a clear day in Wears Valley, you can see Mount LeConte in the background with the colorful leaves blanketing the treetops.

Whether you are here for relaxation, adventure, shopping, eating, spotting wildlife, hiking, antiquing, or exploring the scenic backroads of Tennessee, you can attain all of that from this cabin.

The cabin is close to many area attractions such as Dollywood, The Titanic and Rocky Top Mountain Coaster! It is also close to tons of shopping along the Parkway at the Tanger Outlets or Pigeon Forge Factory Outlet.
Or, if antiquing is your thing, there are many local antique shops in the area.

With Pigeon Forge less than 10 minutes away and Gatlinburg 25 minutes away and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you are in a prime spot to take advantage of all the area has to offer.
 
Sevierville is widely known for its picturesque landscapes and views, the best shopping in the area, and has a reputation as the perfect vacation destination in the Smokies. Often referred to as the “Gateway to the Smokies,” it IS the place to stay for all your Great Smoky Mountain adventures.

Over the last four years, I have been visiting the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area during the fall for 5-8 weeks. As a regular “short term renter” and after falling in love with the beauty of eastern TN, I finally decided to purchase my own property. My goal is to provide you with a super clean cabin, excellent communication, and an awesome rental experience. I am happy to share anything I have learned about the area to include my favorite spots to visit. And I welcome all comments and suggestions to help make your future rental experiences better. I would love to earn your repeat stays!
