BEWARE OF HOST

This review goes as a warning in the hopes that it will spare other families from having a similar experience to ours. This rental listing lacks the full description of what this property entails. It says it sleeps 6 but only a king bed with a couch is pictured. I reached out to the host, Tia, before I booked it to inquire about the sleeping arrangements to ensure it was a good fit for our family. She informed me at that time that it has another bedroom (not pictured) with 2 twins in it. We proceeded to book it for our family with our small children. Tia then reached out and warned us that it was directly on the water. I appreciated her concern for my kids and I assured her that our children are good listeners and wouldn’t go outside without mom and dad. At that time, the crucial information she failed to mention was that the twin bedroom is not under the same roof as the king bedroom, and is disconnected and is separate structure directly on the water. We NEVER would have booked it if we knew ahead of time that we wouldn’t be under the same roof as our small children. I only found out about this important and vital detail in the general arrival information 72 hours prior to our stay. Concerned, I contacted Tia in order to clarify what the set up is and she told me she was putting us up in her other unit without even asking me first. I asked for pictures of this unit and she never gave me any. I asked for her cell phone number so that we could talk over the phone because her

Overnight fishing trip

We stayed at this location for a 1 night fishing & shrimping trip, it was conveniently located 1 mile away from River Breeze Boat ramp. Trailer parking and boat parking on the property was very easy. The room was clean & comfortable and your bedroom door is right next to your boat which is always a plus, especially for the early mornings .. Our host Tia, was great and made everything very easy. We will return for more family fishing trips.

When it came time to choose a home, I wanted a bird sanctuary, somewhere great for fishing, beautiful sunsets & rocket launches on the water, and a place to create memories. After living here, I wanted to share this piece of paradise. It may not be much to some, but it’s a place to have peace of mind.
