You won't be alone at this gorgeously decorated home down a quiet street just 1.5 miles south of the Surf City traffic light. This Empty Nest will most certainly bring the family together again to relax, catch up and create more family memories. There is no doubt that this beautiful home will be just what you need.

The private community beach access at the beginning of the development and across South Shore Drive. Also included with this rental is the community day dock which is located at the end of the street on the sound. Drop your kayak in here and paddle around the sound and canals.

The amenities of Empty Nest are as follows: central air/heat, 2 color cable tvs, dvd player, internet access - wireless, stereo/cd player with surround sound, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, exterior elevator, gas fireplace (seasonal only, Oct. 1 - Mar. 31), telephone, ceiling fans, wet bar, enclosed hot/cold shower, carport with wet weather entry, 2 covered porches and 1 sun deck all with deck furniture.

Great family beach trip

This property was great and presented as advertised. The house is well maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Our only complaint was that there are no cabinets available for food storage. We prepared all of our meals in the house so we had lots of groceries sitting on the counters. This was a small issue considering everything else. It was only a short walk to a very nice beach area. All in all a great place!

Great stay!

Loved this property! Isnt as close to oceanfront as listing makes it seem. Photo is zoomed in. However, the private beach entrance makes it nice and not a ton of sand to track in! Quiet community and clean home!

Great Stay

Lots of stairs here but once you get everything in and settled not that bad.. The kitchen is very well stocked, we cooked lots of different meals and had everything we needed. The house was very clean and the bedrooms are all a good size.. Easiest check in/ out we have ever had.. no stopping by the office and waiting, they sent us a code to get in. They would also send reminders about when to put the trash out.. easy walk to the beach with a private access… Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall the stay was excellent. I was disappointed that we could not see the ocean even a little bit. A plastic chair on the deck was broken and should have been removed before we arrived. The disposal sounded really rough so we didn’t use it. These were little things and the house is beautiful and comfortable! We will be back!
