About the host
Hosted by Dixie Viator

We were born and reared in South Louisiana. We have had this property for 30 years. Our three sons are very familiar with the area and grew up fishing, swimming and playing on the River. We have six Grandchildren who love water sports also. We are avid fishermen and boaters, and spend our free time on the River and the Basin fishing, skiing, tubing and boating. We love to bird watch and the Basin and surrounding area afford us a multitude of birds to view. We currently live in the community of Youngsville, LA.
