About this property

Bright, Cheery, Quiet 1B/1Ba Apt Steps from RACECOURSE. Avail for full season

One block from the Historic Saratoga Racecourse!

This is a Bright, cheery + nicely updated 1st fl 1BR/1BA apartment in a beautiful established, safe, quiet neighborhood. You will also have use of the front porch for morning coffee, post racing glass of wine, or just to watch the world go by.

STEPS AWAY from Saratoga Race Course, the Oklahoma Training Track + Fasig-Tipton Pavilion, Kings, Siro's and the Brook Tavern. An easy stroll to restaurants + shops of ever-popular downtown Saratoga Springs, yet close to N'way exit 14, the State Park, Saratoga Performing Arts Center and Saratoga Lake: 4 Mitchell St is PERFECTLY LOCATED for the authentic Saratoga visit! This clean, bright, updated and super charming 1st floor 1BR apt in an 1883 Victorian era home is nestled in a safe, lovely, treed residential neighborhood.

Belmont and track season rentals include one parking space in the driveway. Additionally: on street parking here is unrestricted, plentiful, and at no cost. Apart from busy raceday hours there are usually several spots open right in front of the house.
Both the main entry door and the apartment door have electronic deadbolt locks for absolute security, even though this is a very safe residential neighborhood. I will send your access code prior to your arrival.
When you arrive, enter via the home's front door, and once inside your apartment door is directly to your left.
There are a couple of steps up to access the front door/porch from ground level. The entry door to the bedroom is somewhat narrow (old house quirkiness) so the space is not universally accessible. This is not an appropriate space for children, pets or parties. And please note: This is a non-smoking property.

Nicely sized for one or two guests, the light and airy apartment consists of a three rooms: a comfy sitting room, a quiet bedroom with ensuite, and full kitchen. The beautiful, large windows bring plenty of natural light to the sitting room.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed (Casper mattress) and the ensuite bath features a large glass and tiled walk-in shower. The entire apartment has been lovingly updated, but still retains much of its original charm and a bit of its old house quirkiness. This is a comfortable and relaxing apartment close and walkable to everything, but still away from it all.

The house has three apartments. This listing is for the first floor apartment in the front of the house. Your host and co-host, an older couple, live in the back apartment. We generally keep to ourselves and will respect your privacy, but will be around if you need us.

We strive to provide a meticulously clean & comfortable space for you, with attention to all the most important details. Many of our guests have told us our two apartments are the cleanest they've visited.

This is a wonderful time to visit our "city in the country!" It is beautiful here, with plenty to do. Downtown is bustling with activities, quaint shops, and cozy eateries! Our Eastside neighborhood is absolutely walkable, with interesting and varied architecture. It's just a few minutes walk to Congress Park with it's natural springs, the gorgeous Canfield Casino, and our famously entertaining duck population. The history museum is located in the Canfield Casino, and a visit there will offer insight to Saratoga Springs' unique, and surprising history as an early tourist destination.
