Communication was Subpar
I really wanted to give this property a better rating, but the lack of timely communication, as well as innacurate information, has made it impossible. The property was very clean and convenient to both the airport and cruise terminal which we truly appreciated. Audrea, the host, was always nice when she finally got back to us, but often it would be hours to get a question answered. We are used to hosts replying to questions within an hour or two, but sometimes Audrea wouldn't respond at all, or it would be seven hours later. When we checked in there was no note, no house manual, no blanket for the bed, no throw for the couch, only one pillow was on the bed (but we found a spare one in the closet), the combo den/bedroom had no light, there was only one K-cup for the coffee machine...I reached out to the host immediately about not having a WiFi password, although it was clearly stated in the listing that it was supplied. I also told her about there being no light in the room which made it very awkward if you wanted to read or even just relax. She replied seven hours later and it was after 11:00 p.m. We were sound asleep. She finally gave us the WiFi password and said the overhead light was controlled by a switch on the wall. NOPE! It was completely not working as we had already tried all switches and even changed the bulb. Probably a nice person, but we expected better. Also, we were told the bed was not a Murphy bed, but it absolutely was and was not comfortable.
